1007: Mansfield Kitchen & Mudroom
This transformative kitchen-centric renovation breathed new life into a classic 1938 Colonial in Mansfield, Massachusetts, turning a cramped and dated layout into a bright, modern, family-friendly heart of the home.
By reimagining both existing spaces and incorporating strategic expansions, we delivered a spacious open kitchen and dining area, a warm and highly functional mudroom, and a much-needed first-floor powder room—all while maintaining the home’s original charm.
The redesigned kitchen now serves as a true gathering space. A thoughtful, cost-conscious layout features an expansive island with rich maple mist cabinetry surrounded by crisp painted maple lily perimeter cabinets. Clean Tulum quartz countertops, a timeless herringbone tile backsplash, traditional white oak hardwood floors, and carefully selected chandelier and pendant lighting create a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere that’s as beautiful as it is livable.
What was once an underutilized breezeway is now a proper mudroom drop-zone, plus a conveniently located powder room—adding everyday function the family had been missing for years.
