Provost Companies transformed a dark, congested, and fragmented floor plan into a bright, open, and warmly inviting home designed for effortless entertaining and family gatherings.

We reimagined the entire kitchen, dining area, and first-floor powder room, added a beautiful sunroom, and extended the existing deck.

The kitchen now flows seamlessly into the dining and living spaces. We removed the bearing wall that once divided the rooms and concealed a recessed structural beam to maintain a clean, uninterrupted ceiling plane. A dramatic triple double-hung window was centered over the new sink, opening the exterior wall and flooding the entire main level with natural light that travels freely throughout the open layout. The original hardwood floors were carefully extended into the kitchen, creating one continuous, elegant floor plane. Custom inset two-tone cabinetry features a sleek svelte-sage island surrounded by soft beige perimeter cabinets, all crowned with Statuario Gold quartz countertops. Thoughtful lighting—decorative pendants above the island and window, warm under-cabinet strips, and recessed fixtures—adds sophistication and an inviting glow.

The former powder room was expanded and elevated into a luxurious full bathroom, offering the perfect step toward future one-level living. It now boasts a spacious walk-in tile shower with a custom niche, built-in bench, and frameless glass doors; an oversized vanity with generous counter space and storage; a tall linen cabinet; and a comfortable seating area for changing. A full-light privacy-glass pocket door ties beautifully into the home’s stain-grade trim, brass accessories, and rubbed antique-brass light fixtures.

The new sunroom addition extends from what was once a small, cramped den and is now a breathtaking retreat. Soaring cathedral ceilings and walls of natural-wood Andersen windows allow sunlight to pour in and dance across the space. Newly installed white-oak floors blend imperceptibly with the existing hardwoods, resulting in an irresistibly warm and cozy room to relax and connect with the people you love most.
