0982: Bridgewater Kitchen, Bath & Sunroom Addition
Bridgewater, MA
This project transformed a congested and broken up space into an open, warm and functional entertaining area for family and friends. We renovated the kitchen, dining, and first floor bathroom, added a sunroom addition, and extended the existing deck.
In the kitchen we opened up the exterior wall and centered a triple double hung window over the new sink location. This allowed abundant natural light to flow into the new space. We removed the bearing wall separating the kitchen from the dining area, allowing all that new natural light to flow freely throughout. The recessed structural beam goes unnoticed, creating a uniform ceiling plane. We removed the old tile floor, and carried the existing hardwoods throughout the new kitchen creating a clean and uniform floor plane. The custom inset two tone cabinetry featured a svelte sage island and beige permitter cabinetry capped with quartz statuario gold countertops. The decorative lights above the window and island, paired with the under cabinet lighting provided warmth and elegance.
Bathroom, sunroom and exterior pictures coming soon.
